175 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when the promised legislation to give effect to the recommendations of the report of the working group on the review and improvement of the maternity legislation, which was published in February 2001, will be published and enacted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Drafting of the Bill giving effect to the remaining recommendations of the working group is close to completion. I expect that the Bill will be published by Easter and enacted as soon as possible afterwards.
