Question:

189 Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the country afforded the privilege of military aircraft and civilian chartered aircraft carrying foreign military personnel overflying or landing at Cork Airport, Dublin Airport, Knock Airport and Shannon Airport on their way to war or other armed conflict, or on their way to prepare for war or other armed conflict in each case since the opening of these facilities; the dates on which; the purpose; the number of personnel on board; the number and type of armaments on board; the duration of stay; if landing charges were levied; if not, the cost to the Exchequer; if notice of the landing was given to the Government, or was an emergency; if the Minister was advised and aware in advance; if prior ministerial authorisation was given; if the aircraft was inspected by Irish authorities for breaches of the Defence Acts or Air Navigation and Transport Acts, or other applicable Acts or Orders; if civil aviation authorities attention was drawn to the landing before, during or after it took place; the path approaching and leaving Irish airspace; and the departure base and destination base.
