140 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Education and Science the increases in the participation rate of students to the end of the senior cycle that have occurred due to the leaving certificate programme, the leaving certificate applied programme and the leaving certificate vocational programme; if he will outline the increases in numbers in tabular form each year for the past five years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Information relating to the issue of retention through second-level education and to the participation of students in the various leaving certificate programmes, as requested, is currently being compiled within my Department. I will arrange to have this forwarded to the Deputy as soon as it is finalised.
