Vol. 567 No. 7

Written Answers. - Health Board Services.

John McGuinness

Question:

195 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if respite care will be offered to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as a matter of urgency; the reasons respite was not arranged as promised in December 2002; and if the arrangement will be expedited. [14970/03]

As the Deputy will be aware, responsibility for provision of health services in the Kilkenny area rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him, as a matter of urgency.
