272 Ms Burton asked the Minister for Education and Science the situation in relation to the promised physical education hall at Pobal Scoil Isold, Palmerstown Community School, Palmerstown, Dublin 20; and if his attention has been drawn to the deep frustration and disappointment of students, teachers and parents in relation to the promised facilities apparently now being cancelled. The PE hall project at Phobailscoil Iosolde, Palmerstown, is at an advanced stage of architectural planning that is pre tender, and is included in section 6 of the published programme. However, given the level of financial commitments to be met from projects already in construction, my Department does not envisage that it will be in a position during this year to allow architectural planning for large scale projects to progress beyond their current authorised stage.
