401 Mr. Morgan asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government if he intends to increase the grants available under the shared ownership scheme and the affordable housing scheme in line with inflation; if not, the reason therefore; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I assume the question refers to the loan limits under the affordable housing and shared ownership schemes. My Department is keeping the terms of the loan limits under review, taking into account the movement in house prices, the availability of mortgage finance in the private sector and effectiveness of the various schemes in meeting the needs of the relevant target group.
