Question:

279 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will fund the establishment of an infectious diseases ward in Crumlin Children's Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19454/03]

Services at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children are provided under an arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority and my Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to examine this issue and to reply to the Deputy directly.
