998 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the up-to-date position regarding the appointment of various positions (details supplied) to Waterford Regional Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21019/03]
The question of appointing consultants at Waterford Regional Hospital is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board in conjunction with Comhairle na nOspidéal. Accordingly my Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matters raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
