303 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Education and Science when a response will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare whose letter was forwarded to him in January 2003; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26461/03]
The correspondence referred to the Deputy was forwarded to my office from the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform. The Department had addressed a number of the issues raised in the correspondence. The correspondence was forwarded to my Department as the correspondent is seeking a copy of certain records relating to his attendance at a particular primary school.
While an interim reply was issued to the correspondent, a final reply has not yet issued. I can assure the Deputy that a comprehensive reply will issue to the person in the very near future.
