Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 9 Jul 1986

Vol. 113 No. 16

Business of Seanad.

It has been agreed that Item No. 5 is to be taken at 5 p.m. with each group given ten minutes to speak and the Minister has 20 minutes to reply. The Status of Children Bill, 1986, will be resumed at 6 p.m.

It has also been agreed that it would be possible for groups to divide their speakers if they wanted to. They would have five minutes each and I understand that the main Opposition party want to do that. The Labour Party want to divide their time between Senator Flor O'Mahony and Senator Brendan Howlin. It still does not alter the time factor.
