Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 27 May 1987

Vol. 116 No. 4

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Katharine Bulbulia that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the expansion and development of third level education in Waterford and south east region.

I also received notice from Senator John A. Murphy of the following matter:

The presentation by the Government, through publicly-funded advertisements, of a party political view of the issues involved in the Referendum on the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution Bill.

I regard both matters as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Bulbulia's motion for today's Adjournment and it will be taken from 8 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Senator Murphy may give notice for another day of the matter he wishes to raise.

Thank you, a Chathaoirligh. I propose to resubmit this matter immediately for your consideration.
