Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Rory Kiely that, on the Adjournment of the House today, he wishes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry to instruct all district veterinary offices to release results of the brucellosis blood tests immediately.

I have also received notice from Senator O'Sullivan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise and Employment to indicate the progress that has been made in the establishment of the local employment service and the linked measures for 18 to 19 year olds who are not in education, training or employment.

I have also received notice from Senator Enright of the following matter:

The reported threat of closure to all social welfare branch offices nationwide.

I have also received notice from Senator Honan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise and Employment to outline the efforts being made by the State agencies under his aegis to ensure the retention of 130 jobs in Butler Engineering.

I have also received notice from Senator McGennis of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to outline the reason the boys' and girls' schools at Scoil Bhríde, Blanchardstown, do not have a separate full-time remedial teacher.

I have also received notice from Senator McGowan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to provide funding for a PE hall at the vocational school, Raphoe, County Donegal.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Kiely's and Senator O'Sullivan's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
