Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 31 Mar 1999

Vol. 158 No. 19

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Costello that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to confirm his commitment to provide an all-Irish second level school in north-east Dublin by the beginning of the 1999 school year.

I have also received notice from Senator Glynn of the following matter:

The need for the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to report on progress regarding the provision of replacement industry or industries at the Tarkett factory, Clonmore Industrial Estate, Mullingar.

I regard the matter raised by Senator Costello as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. I regret to say that Senator Glynn's matter is one for the IDA itself and, consequently, is not in order for discussion on the Adjournment.
