Vol. 168 No. 8

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator McDonagh that on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to make the necessary funding available to the board of management of CallaSanctus College, Oranmore, for its new school building project which caters for 680 students and staff.

I have also received notice from Senator Costello of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to make an early decision on the future of the Eastern Regional Health Authority lands at Grangegorman and to confirm that the Dublin Institute of Technology will be provided with a third level educational campus on the site and that the local community will be afforded free access to the sports and recreational facilities on the site.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
