I have also received notice from Senator Paudie Coffey of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to outline the number of applications made by his Department to the European globalisation fund of the European Union to assist redundant workers in the State; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I have also received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Social and Family Affairs to clarify if he will amend the Civil Registration Act 2004 to facilitate the registration of deaths in Ireland of Irish citizens who die abroad.
