Before I call the next speaker, and in the context of International Women's Day, I wish to announce formally for the information of the House that, on my recommendation as Cathaoirleach, the Houses of the Oireachtas Commission today appointed Ms Bridget Doody as Clerk Assistant of Seanad Éireann in accordance with the Staff of the Houses of the Oireachtas Act 1959, as amended. It is pleasant news as we need a full complement of staff. We are glad that Martin, the Clerk of the Seanad, has a very good helper. She has a proven track record and I am very glad she is on board and wish her luck.
