View answerThe National Transport Authority (NTA) has extended the renewal dates of vehicle licences due to expire between 13 March 2020 and 12 June 2020 by three months. The NTA has also waived the late renewal fee for any licence holder who was unable to renew in time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the licencing of taxis and other small public service vehicles is a matter for the NTA under the provisions of the Taxi Regulation Act 2013, I have referred your question to the NTA for direct reply to you. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within 10 working days.
