View answerThe figure of €40,427,264 including VAT referred to in my reply to the Parliamentary Question relates to expenditure on specialist external adviser firms on the NBP over the past five years and the first payment to National Broadband Ireland (NBI) under the NBP contract.
The figure does not include the cost of Department staff working on the project. My Department publishes salary and other administration related costs for the Department, on a programme basis, in the annual Estimates and in the Appropriation Account.
