Deputy David Cullinane asked the Minister for Social Protection if she will advise on a matter raised in correspondence (details supplied); if the pension abatement rule for public sector pensions applies to employment with section 38 and 39 organisations; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As I understand that the Deputy is asking about the potential abatement of a public sector pension that could apply to employment with section 38 and 39 organisations, I would direct the Deputy to my colleague, the Minister for Health, who has policy responsibility for these organisations.
