Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Finance the amount paid by the National Asset Management Agency to legal firms or companies in each of the years 2010 to 2020 and to date in 2021; and the individual amounts received by each named firm for its work for each year in tabular form. I wish to advise the Deputy that, on a regular basis, NAMA requires the assistance of specialist legal services in order to assist the Agency in meeting its statutory objectives.

The information sought by the Deputy, with regard to payments made by NAMA to law firms from 2010 to 2020, is set out in the table attached. Figures for 2021 are not yet available.
