Deputy Marian Harkin asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development if a copy will be provided of the European Commission communication to her Department in spring 2020 regarding the verification of the reasonableness of administration costs of LEADER in accordance with article 48(2)(e) of EU Regulation 809/2014; and if she will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe communication referred to by the Deputy was provided to my Department through the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine as the Managing Authority in Ireland for the Rural Development Programme, of which LEADER is one element.
The document is part of a deliberative process between my Department, the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and the European Commission. I am not, therefore, in a position to provide a copy of the document at this point in time.
