Deputy Colm Burke asked the Minister for Education if she will confirm that consideration will be given to reducing the number of sraith pictúir required for the leaving certificate higher level Irish examination to be reduced from 20 to 10; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The State Examinations Commission has statutory responsibility for operational matters relating to the State examinations.
