284. Deputy Mark Ward asked the Minister for Health if there is a process within the HSE where a person (details supplied) can access the long-term illness card for treatment of hereditary spastic paraplegia; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [45760/23]

As the Health Service Executive (HSE) has responsibility for the administration of the community drug schemes, including the Long Term Illness Scheme, this matter has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
