Details on the number of households qualified for social housing support in each local authority administrative area is provided in the annual statutory Summary of Social Housing Assessments (SSHA). The report shows that there were 272 households qualified for social housing in Longford County Council whose need was unmet in 2022. It also includes a breakdown by local authority across a range of categories, including household size, which provides detail on household composition and the number of persons in each household type including children.
The SSHA exercise for 2023 is currently under way and the summary is due to be published in 2024.
