Deputy Darren O'Rourke asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications what, if any, additional funding has been provided to increase grid capacity and-or to prepare the grid for renewable energy projects; if there are plans to increase this; what, if any, requests for additional funding have been made to Government; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
