237. Deputy Paul Donnelly asked the Minister for Transport the funding being made available in 2024 and 2025 to purchase additional longer carriages for the LUAS for both lines; and if so, when those new carriages are expected to come into service. [1142/24]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has responsibility for the planning and development of public transport infrastructure, including the procurement of light rail carriages.
