View answerAs announced in Budget 2024, a January Bonus Payment of 100% of the appropriate weekly amount is to be paid to all recipients of long-term Social Welfare Payment. Persons who have been in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance for 312 days or more will receive the January Bonus.
The January Bonus for Long Term Job Seekers Allowance recipients was paid on week commencing 29/01/2024.
Any person who does not qualify for the January Bonus Payment and who are experiencing financial hardship may apply for assistance via the Community Welfare Service”
