Sub-Committee on Environment, Community and Local Government to discuss Water Services (Amendment) Bill 2011

Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government will attend the meeting of the Sub-Committee on Environment, Community and Local Government tomorrow, 18th January to discuss the Water Services (Amendment) Bill 2011.

This legislation has been brought in to address the issue of septic tanks and other on-site wastewater treatment systems and provides for a registration and inspection system for septic tanks.

This meeting will take place on Wednesday, 18th January, in Committee Room 4, Leinster House 2000 at 10am.
