Minister for Health to attend Select Sub-Committee on Health for Committee stage of FGM Bill

The Oireachtas Sub-Committee on Health Sub-Committee will consider the Criminal Justice (Female Genital Mutilation) Bill 2011 with the Minister for Health, James Reilly, TD.

The Bill provides for the creation of an offence of genital mutilation, and other offences relating to female genital mutilation, for the better protection of girls and women.

The meeting takes place tomorrow, Thursday, 9th February, at 11.30am in Committee Room 2, LH 2000.
