The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications will meet today, Wednesday, to discuss the future of the An Post Network with Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Hildegarde Naughton TD at 17:30 in Committee Room 4 of Leinster House.
Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Kieran O’Donnell said: “The Committee has had the opportunity to learn of the major challenges facing the postal network from the Irish Postmasters’ Union, and now welcomes the Minister of State with responsibility for An Post, Minister Naughton to outline her strategic plans for the postal service.”
The meeting in Committee Room 4 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.
The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
