asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will take the necessary steps to have Redwood Bog, Lorrha, Nenagh, County Tipperary, taken over and divided among those users who have turbary rights for the past 15 years.
With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle I propose to take Questions Nos. 592 and 593 together.
The Land Commission do not propose to initiate proceedings for the acquisition of these bogs. They recently acquired some 40 hectares of bog in the nearby townland of Faddenmore and when this area has been developed it should be sufficient to satisfy whatever local demand may exist for turbary.
