Comhairle Radio na Gaeltachta is an advisory committee appointed by the RTE Authority, with the consent of the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, under section 21 of the Broadcasting Authority Acts, 1960, as amended. I have given my consent to the appointment of a new comhairle by the RTE Authority and details of the new comhairle will be announced by the authority shortly.
