154 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Justice the total number of designated clerical Garda posts; the total number of gardaí employed in those posts; and the total number of gardaí employed in non-designated clerical duties. [18211/95]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that there are approximately 260 Garda designated clerical posts which are filled by gardaí. Gardaí are also filling 63 posts which are due to be reviewed as non-designated clerical posts as vacancies arise.
