263 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Social Welfare the persons appointed by him to boards under the aegis of his Department since January 1995; and the number of vacancies currently remaining to be filled or due to fall vacant in the near future. [12682/97]
The information requested by the Deputy in relation to the persons appointed by me since January 1995 to the State boards under the aegis of my Department is contained in my reply to Question No. 334 of 25 March 1997. There has been no change in the position since then.
There is one vacancy on the board of the Combat Poverty Agency and two further vacancies will arise in September 1997.
There are no vacancies currently on the National Social Service Board or the Pensions Board and none is anticipated in the near future.
