Ceist:190 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be called for his long awaited orthopaedic surgery. [9665/98]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 188 and 190 together.
The provision of medical treatment in this instance is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
