Ceist:203 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will accede to a request to have a representative from his Department join a task force (details supplied). [9631/98]
Written Answers. - Area-Based Partnerships.
The Deputy will be aware that the Fatima Mansions area falls within the remit of the Rialto-Kilmainham-Bluebell-Inchicore area-based partnership.
My Department has nominated a member of the inspectorate to the Education sub-committee of every area-based partnership and, in the case of this particular partnership, my nominee will be available to advise the Fatima Groups United organisation on educational matters which it may address from time to time.
A letter will issue shortly to the community development worker on the Fatima task force advising her as to the name and contact details of my nominee in this case.
