193 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the position in relation to the provision of a new Garda station at Leixlip, County Kildare; when the station will be ready for occupation; the number of gardaí to be assigned; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11732/99]
I would refer the Deputy to my reply to his question on 20 April regarding the provision of a new Garda station at Leixlip, County Kildare.
The Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform has advised that when the brief for the new station is being furnished, the Garda human resource allocation model that includes factors such as crime level and population etc. will be assessed and this assessment will determine the number of personnel that will be allocated to the station.
