260 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands the proposals, if any, she has regarding the development of the arts in Waterford for inclusion in the National Development Plan 2000-2006; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [11345/99]
The preparation of a new national development plan has not reached the stage where detailed planning of the type referred to by the Deputy has been decided upon. The Deputy can be assured however that I will be giving detailed consideration to the most effective way of developing the arts under the new national development plan at the appropriate time.
