Vol. 504 No. 2

Written Answers. - Court Procedures.

Gay Mitchell

Ceist:

279 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 180 of 21 April 1999, he will print the forms as prescribed in the regulations and make these available to the public in court clerks' offices. [11311/99]

The ten forms in question which relate to family law proceedings run to 16 pages in total and are necessarily legal in nature. Proper completion of the forms for the purposes of an application to court is dependent on reading, understanding and interpreting the rules in question. As already indicated to the Deputy, these rules of court are available to the public through the Government publications sale office, Sun Alliance House, Molesworth Street, Dublin 2, or by mail order from Government publications, postal trade section, 4/5 Harcourt Road, Dublin 2. The cost of the rules is £6.
