133 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Defence further to Parliamentary Question No. 126 of 15 April 2003, the name of the auctioneer who has been retained to sell the 19 acres of military property in the vicinity of Fort Davis mentioned in the reply; if this property has been advertised for sale in the national media; if so, the details of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Agreement was reached several years ago for the sale of approximately 19 acres at Fort Davis. A contract for sale was completed at the time. The legal formalities attendant in the sale remain, however, to be finalised due, inter alia, to the death in the meantime of the purchaser, and in this regard, my Department is currently making arrangements for the closure of the sale with the executors and assigns of the purchaser. It is not intended to dispose of any further portions of the property at this time.
