299 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Education and Science if her attention has been drawn to the fact that a person (details supplied) in County Dublin, who is wheelchair bound, has not been provided with school transport; the plans or arrangements which are in place for school transport to be provided for this person. My Department has sanctioned wheelchair accessible transport for the pupil referred to by the Deputy in the details supplied. Bus Éireann, which organises the school transport scheme on behalf of my Department, has been requested to make the necessary arrangements in this regard.
