1534 Deputy Leo Varadkar asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if a company (details supplied) has been awarded contracts by his Department, or any of its agencies, since 2000; the value of the contracts and the length of contract signed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. No contracts have been awarded by my Department to the company named by the Deputy in his question.

The awarding of contracts of the type referred to by the Deputy by Agencies under the remit of this Department is an operational matter for the agencies concerned and I have no function in the matter.
