Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Health the amount of funding that was provided by the Government under the GMS medical card scheme (details supplied); and the amount that was given to each practitioner and provider, in tabular form, per year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Treatment Benefit Scheme is operated by the Department of Social Protection. Matters in relation to it should be addressed to that Department.
As this PQ also seeks data in relation to the provision of audiological services by the Health Service Executive (HSE), which is a service matter, I have asked the HSE to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
