248. Deputy John Paul Phelan asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media if she intends to develop a new food and drinks tourism strategy; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [45530/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Programme for Government commits to the development of a Sustainable Tourism Policy document and, in advance of this, an interim action plan. It is clear that the traditional model of tourism is changing and the development of this new national tourism policy provides an opportunity to set out what type of tourism sector we want out to 2030 and beyond. All issues will be considered in the context of the policy.
