The Joint Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality will launch its report on hearings in relation to the Scheme of the National Vetting Bureau Bill at 11am in the Audio Visual Room, Leinster House on Wednesday next the 2 November 2011.
Chairman David Stanton TD said “This new process whereby the heads of certain bills are published gives stakeholders an excellent opportunity to comment on proposed legislation before it is published. I am delighted that we are now in a position to complete that process and publish our report next week which will highlight the matters raised by the various groups who made presentations during our hearings.”
