Vol. 510 No. 6

Written Answers. - Local Authority Housing.

John McGuinness

Question:

283 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the number of applications his Department has received from Kilkenny Corporation in relation to its house building programme for 2000; and when a decision will be made in this regard. [23281/99]

The multi-annual programme for local authority housing for the four years 2000-3 submitted by Kilkenny Corporation was for an average of 20 houses per year, a total of 80 houses over the four years. I am considering the multi-annual programmes submitted by local authorities and I hope to be in a position to notify individual authorities of their approved programmes in the near future.
