Question:90 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive a 2000 forestry premium; and the reason for the delay in payment. [29249/00]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 89 and 90 together.
All outstanding forestry premiums will be paid to the person in question within the next two weeks. Because of a change of ownership following the death of the previous owner it was necessary to assess the farmer status of the current applicant, leading to an unavoidable delay.
