Vol. 350 No. 4

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

549.

Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a £1,000 new house grant has not been approved for and paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.

A new house grant has not been approved for the person named as my Department's inspector reported that the floor area of the house, as indicated by the plan submitted, is in excess of the maximum allowable for grant purposes, i.e. 125 sq. metres (1,346 sq. ft.). The file is now being referred for measurement of the house on site.
