The Committee was established to consider the third report and recommendations of the Citizens’ Assembly entitled How the State can make Ireland a Leader in tackling Climate Change. The Committee has published its report and laid it before the Houses of the Oireachtas.

The committee has published its report. The report is a response to the Third Report and Recommendations of the Citizens’ Assembly. It also takes account of the stark warning contained in the recent IPCC Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5°C.
