Leaving cert politics and society classes are invited to take part in a Ceann go Ceann video conference with the Ceann Comhairle of Dáil Éireann. It's a chance for your class to speak directly to the Ceann Comhairle, Seán Ó Fearghaíl, and ask him all their questions about Irish politics and the Oireachtas.
We cannot run our popular Leinster House visit while the Leinster House complex remains closed to non-essential visitors due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Looking for ideas for TY projects? What about running an election count or a referendum, or letting your class hold a consultation?
Our Exploring Democracy series for junior cycle CSPE includes three democracy action projects with full instructions, printables and slide shows.

Science of opinion polls
Help senior cycle politics and society students understand how opinion polls are constructed and how to analyse and interpret them.
This exercise would take three classes, ideally including a double class.
On 8 March 2019, 15 transition and 5th year students gave TED-style talks in Dublin Castle. The students were selected from applicants across the country. They received training and support via video conference and visited Leinster House for public speaking coaching. The presentations are available on the TED-Ed Student Talks YouTube channel.
